Through local partnerships and curated programming, we foster meaningful connections and community engagement, strengthening the creative and economic vitality of the neighborhood.

 FAQs

  • April 23-26 it the Benson Creative District!

    Join us for the festival kickoff party on the 23rd as we commence the 5th edition of the Benson Film Festival!

    Benson Theatre doors open at 5 pm on Friday and the festival runs until 5 pm on Sunday.

  • We offer two types of festival passes:

    All-Access Pass

    • Priority seating at every film screening and all special programming.

    • Free entry to all special programming, mixers, parties, live music, etc. ($10 admission fee for non All-Access Pass holders)

    • Special perks and discounts at local Benson businesses.

    Day Pass

    • Available for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

    • Access to all film programming on the day of your choosing. This includes all filmmaker Q&A sessions and Community Conversation sessions on that given day.

    • Day Passes do not grant you free entry to all after parties and live music events. Admission to this programming is $10/event.

    • Priority seating over individual ticket purchasers. (All-Access Pass holders receive priority seating over Day Pass holders.)

    Tickets for individual screenings will be made available closer to the festival. Subject to availability. Pass holds receive priority seating for all screenings.

  • Tickets will be made available for purchase in April.

  • 2026 film programming will be announced April 1, 2026.

  • This festival is for the community, by the community. We’re eager to bring more passionate folks on board to help make the festival happen.

    • You don’t have to be a film buff or cinephile to appreciate this festival. Everyone is welcome!

    • Little known fact: Ben’s hat is actually the Executive Director. Ben is just there to take orders.
